The design on the top of the torch is petal-like, inspired by cherry blossoms. The torch was exhibited in Tokyo from July to August last year. While the torch is exhibiting, the Tokyo Olympic torch, which was lit in March this year, will also travel to various parts of Japan later this week for a two-month national tour. The Olympic flame was lit in Greece on March 12, and a two-month exhibition was held at the Tokyo Olympic Museum from September 1 to November 1.
